11% of survey participants suggested removing the tax on electric vehicles not only in Moscow but also in other regions. While 9% stated that they were ready to buy an electric car subject to free CASCO and MTPL, 3% chose the “other” option. They reported that many conditions were missing for such a purchase.
“I will buy it when it is possible to travel at least 1 thousand km on a single charge, there are charging stations everywhere, charging will be done quickly and the electric car can easily withstand our frosts,” said one survey participant.
At the same time, 39 percent of Russians surveyed stated that they would not buy an electric car under any circumstances.
