“In addition to the passenger vans, the assembly of which started last week, the passenger versions of Largus have also entered test production. “Let us remind you that it is planned to produce approximately 80 cars in total by May 2024, in which the technological processes of the entire production cycle will be studied,” AvtoVAZ said in its statement.
In mid-August 2023, AvtoVAZ announced the end of production of Lada Largus in Tolyatti. In the autumn, the transfer of equipment to the plant in Izhevsk began, where it is planned to put the model into production in 2024. The transfer of production is connected with plans to increase the production of Vesta cars at the main plant in Tolyatti.
The process according to AvtoVAZ president Maxim Sokolov transfer Moving Largus to Izhevsk and starting production will require about another 2 billion rubles.
