In addition to President Catalina Novak, the event was attended by Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjártó.

Suzuki established a subsidiary, Magyar Suzuki Corporation Ltd., in 1991 and started production of the first passenger cars in Hungary in 1992. Magyar Suzuki produced approximately 100,000 cars in 2021 and 3.7 million units over the factory’s existence. The company not only sells products in Hungary, but also exports them to more than 100 countries around the world. In particular, the Hungarian factory Suzuki produces Vitara and SX4 cars for the Russian market.
