Minsk Automobile Plant organized the Russian demonstration of the first light vehicles on the MAZ production line, said press service of the enterprise. At the event in Moscow, MAZ-281040 and MAZ-365022 were presented.
Minibus “MAZ-281040” is designed to transport passengers on medium-length urban and suburban roads. The model is available in two interior layouts: 9+1 and 15+1.
The second model – MAZ-365022 – is an all-metal van with a cargo compartment volume of 12 m². Depending on the version, it has a carrying capacity of 760 to 1150 kg. The innovation can be used with a variety of superstructures, from a manufactured goods truck to an ambulance.
How clarifies Portal Wroom, the innovations offered by MAZ are Chinese JAC Sunray commercial vehicles with changed nameplates. The assembly of cars is carried out at the Brestmash plant from Chinese car kits.

Formerly JAC introduced Sunray minibus in Moscow. The model is also expected to compete with the Nizhny Novgorod Gazelles.
