On June 8, AvtoVAZ resumed production of cars with the anti-crisis version of the Grants – the equipment was called Classic’22. The municipality of Togliatti on VKontakte posted a video of the assembly line where these cars are produced.
The “anti-crisis” Grant is mounted on the same “thread” of the conveyor, which previously produced all other versions of the model. You can see that from the early days of the assembly line there were cars in three body types: sedans, liftbacks and station wagons.
The cars are equipped with electric power steering, electric windows for the front doors, heated and electrically operated rear-view mirrors, ISOFIX child seat mountings, daytime running lights, an on-board computer, central locking, audio preparation with 4 speakers and 14-inch steel wheels with decorative caps.
Previously, Granta also had the Classic version, which was the cheapest. But in comparison, the price of the new Classic’22 “dropped” by another 103,200 rubles. for what?
Precisely because of the components, due to the lack of them, the plant occasionally fell silent last spring. And on the cars now going along the conveyor belt, ABS + BAS and ESC systems, airbags, ERA-GLONASS unit, security system and immobilizer, seat belt pretensioners, fog lamps …
- As attentive viewers note in the comments, there is also no air conditioning on the assembled cars – but it is expected to appear in another simplified version of the model, the anti-crisis Granta Drive Active.
