Nearly 21 billion rubles are planned to be allocated this year to support the demand in the auto industry. Denis Manturov spoke about this after a meeting with the head of state on the development of the auto industry.
Of this money, 10.2 billion rubles will go to the program of preferential car loans and preferential leasing – 4.9 billion rubles, 2.6 billion rubles for discounts on electric transport, 3.3 billion rubles for gas vehicles.
The market must be stimulated by products that can be freely produced and supplied to Russian consumers, says the minister.
It is necessary to support not only individuals, but also small and medium-sized businesses, including the leasing of gas-powered vehicles.
The president ordered that the strategy for the development of the auto industry be updated within two months. After that, a decision can be made on support measures for the next three years.
