Second-hand car sales in Russia may reach record levels 13:26

It is expected that 6.5 million second-hand cars will be sold in Russia by the end of 2023. This is stated in a joint study by the analytical agency Gruzdev-Analyze and the Fit Service car service network (available from socialbites.ca). This means 1 million more cars (+18%) than Russians will buy in 2022.

“The second-hand car market in Russia is breaking records. According to the 9-month results of 2023, more than 5 million used cars have already been sold; This is 27% more than last year. “According to initial estimates, this figure may reach 6.5 million vehicles by the end of the year,” he said.

According to Avtostat-Info, approximately 5.5 million second-hand passenger cars were sold in Russia last year. This is 9.5% less than those sold in all of 2021 (6 million units).
