The deputy suggested free travel on the M-4 “Don” highway

Viktor Vodolatsky, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Citizen Relations, proposed the abolition of tolls at 11 points on the federal highway from Rostov-on-Don to Moscow. In the near future, a corresponding appeal will be sent to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. The deputy wrote this on his Telegram channel.

“In connection with the constant introduction of restrictions on air travel at airports in the southern and central regions of the Russian Federation, there has been an increased burden on federal highways by road transport. On the M-4 Don highway, on the section from Rostov-on-Don to Moscow, there are 11 toll collection points, which imposes a financial burden on all car drivers, including increased logistics costs – noted in Viktor’s message. The deputy announced that the fare should be canceled for the duration of the restrictions set on air travel.
