The Kyiv prosecutor’s office arrested the corporate accounts of the importer of Belarusian equipment “MAZ”, and also seized a pile of trucks. This is reported by Autoconsulting with reference to the department’s press service.
“It has been determined that the company officials have made a prior agreement with several dealers and carried out the vehicle transfer in the 2021-2022 period. At the same time, 47 of the vehicles were partially disposed of by signing the transfer and acceptance documents without being duly reflected in the tax and accounting records.
According to the agency, as a result of using such a scheme, entrepreneurs evaded taxes in the amount of 10 million hryvnia (21.9 million rubles).
The prosecution seized 158 MAZ vehicles belonging to the importer and confiscated the company’s accounts. All assets have been transferred to the management of the National Agency for the Detection, Investigation and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes.
