Russia plans to restart unscheduled inspections of beer, cider and spirits producers. The newspaper writes that the relevant appeal was sent by lawmakers and the Public Consumer Initiative (OPI) to the Attorney General, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the government and Rosalkogolregulirovanie. “News”.

OPI states that at least 71% (48%) of companies producing beer and beer products in the Russian Federation operate in violation of mandatory requirements, including misrepresentation of production volumes. Also, according to OPI, 31% of them produce poor quality products.

Russian Ministry of Health reportedthat the number of victims of poisoning with the artificial alcoholic drink “Mr. Cider” reached 90 people, including a minor and a pregnant woman. In addition, it was learned that the number of people who died from poisoning with “Mr. Cider” in Russia reached 32 people.
