“According to the investigation, on the evening of May 10, 2023, the young people came to visit a friend in the village of Shushenskoye, where they all drank alcohol together. After the feast, five of the youth drove in the direction of the village of Subbotino. While on the road, the driver lost control and had an accident and overturned the vehicle, as a result of which the vehicle fell into a puddle.
There were two 18-year-old boys, an 18-year-old girl and 19 and 20-year-old boys in the vehicle. All of them could not get out of the car and died. Information about the car falling into the reservoir came from the passenger bus driver.
A criminal case was opened regarding the fact that there were accidents with the dead. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the disaster.
