During a major test of 205/55 R16 summer tires, the experts at Za Rulem not only found out all their characteristics, strengths and weaknesses, but also determined which tires could cost more.
Most of the tires tested turned out to be like this – there are underrated tires in all price groups, from the budget category to the premium. Let’s name one in each of them.

In addition, these tires have a high rolling resistance and are noisier than others. Therefore, Viatti tires took 10th place in the general classification.
Kumho ecstasy HS51
Tires were most undervalued in the mid-price segment Kumho ecstasy HS51which, like the model viattican cost by 15% more – not 4900 rubles each, but about 5500 rubles.

They have excellent lateral grip on wet surfaces. It should also be noted the high resistance to aquaplaning. But at the same time they do not have the best braking properties on wet and cold surfaces. And this is the 6th place in the general classification.
Nokian Hakka Blue 3
Of the premium brands, the most underrated are tires Nokian Hakka Blue 3 With their characteristics, they can cost by 11% more expensive – not 6090 rubles, but more than 6600 each.

These tires have the best braking performance on wet roads. It doesn’t matter what the temperature is outside. They also improve the car’s handling and directional stability. But at the same time, transverse aquaplaning resistance is not their strongest point, as is rolling resistance. It is noteworthy that in the tire test “Behind the wheel” it was these tires that won and took 1st place in the general classification.
