The Russian automobile plant KamAZ assembled the first K5 truck in a new version that will not depend on the supply of components from enemy countries. In this respect informs press service of the enterprise.
“The main tractor KamAZ-54901 was mounted on a conveyor in a general flow. The new version of the tractor has undergone some changes. The cooling system, vehicle information system, electrical equipment system, cabin suspension, sound insulation were improved and finalized. In addition, the automatic transmission, drive axle, pneumatic system and other components were replaced.
According to the production plan, 272 new generation K5 KamAZ-54901 trucks will be produced in February, of which more than 70 will be produced using local components in Russia and friendly countries.
