A 70-year-old car owner appealed to the police, who reported that a foreign car was stolen for 2 million rubles. A mechanically damaged car was found parked on one of the city streets. The suspect in the theft was a 38-year-old local resident who had been previously convicted.
The man said he found the keys on Molodezhnaya Street. The next day, he found out which car the keys fit, started the car and set off. During the trip, the hijacker crashed with a parked car, the stranger left the car and fled.
A criminal case was opened against the suspect under Article 4. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the hijacker was released on bail and with proper behavior.
