The Hongqi brand (“Red Flag”), which appeared in 1959, belongs to the FAW automobile concern. Previously, the company only produced cars for the Chinese party leadership, but recently it has begun to produce premium sedans and crossovers for free sale.
The dimensions of the Hongqi E-QM5 sedan are slightly larger than the Mercedes-Benz E-classes: it reaches 5040 mm in length, 1910 in width and 1569 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2990 mm. In the cabin, depending on the version, a rear sofa for three passengers or separate rear seats with electric backrest slopes can be installed. In this case, a retractable footrest is provided for the passenger on the right. The armrest has a remote control for the seats and four-zone climate control.
The Hongqi E-QM5 is equipped with a choice of 136 or 190 hp electric motors. Traction battery capacity – 54 kWh. On a single battery charge, a mileage of up to 431 km is declared.
