“Currently, the possibility of assembling C- and D-class cars together with partners from friendly countries is being discussed on one of the sites, perhaps, including in Izhevsk,” Sokolov said.
He also noted that AvtoVAZ is not considering a joint stock partnership, as Renault has the right to repurchase shares within six years. At the same time, Sokolov did not specify the future partners of the company, as there are no final agreements yet.
