Electric car maker Motorinvest, which builds localized Chinese electric cars under the Evolute brand, will reduce its range from four to three models. The Evolute i-Van minivan will reportedly be temporarily out of production.
Now the car plant is actively selling two models – the i-Pro sedan and the i-Joy crossover. Cross-coupe i-Jet should appear on the car market in the near future. It is not yet known when production of the minivan will start. The delay is believed to be due to production issues.
The Evolute i-Van is a cloned copy of the Chinese model Dongfeng LingZhi EV, whose design is rooted in 1990s Mitsubishi frame and suspension minibuses.
