In the Tyumen region, a 15-year-old boy was behind the wheel of a Lada when a three-car collision occurred, according to a report on the Telegram channel of the regional traffic police department.

The crash unfolded in the Isetsky district at the 106th kilometer mark on the Tyumen-Kurgan highway.

Officials described that the Lada moved into the oncoming lane and struck a Mazda. In the traffic police statement, a driver with seven months of driving experience, who was following the Lada in a Skoda, attempted to steer aside to avoid the impact but then collided with a barrier or fence.

A 15-year-old passenger in the Lada sustained injuries and was hospitalized. The other teenager behind the wheel did not hold a driver’s license and had taken the car from his brother after police were notified. It also emerged that the vehicle carried two summer wheels and two winter wheels, a detail that drew attention during the investigation.

Earlier reports mentioned a major fatal crash in the Kaluga region involving a bus, highlighting ongoing concerns about road safety and youth driving responsibilities in the region.
