In the Russian market, dealers have publicized the pricing for the new Solaris HS, a model that closely mirrors the Hyundai Solaris sedan. The information comes from reports cited by the publication Rossiyskaya Gazeta, referencing seller sources.

According to a Russian dealer, the Solaris HS will launch with a top-end configuration featuring a 123-horsepower engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Photographs accompanying the information show the cars without identifying nameplates, leading to speculation that the images were captured at AGR car factory grounds with logos to be added at a later stage.

The basic Active Plus version with the 123-hp engine and automatic transmission is priced at 2.06 million rubles. This trim includes features such as air conditioning, heated front seats, and a four-speaker audio system, among others. A Comfort package variant with the same powertrain is listed at 2.14 million rubles and adds a climate control system, a more comprehensive winter package, and cruise control. A further variant, referred to as Comfort + Light, which the manufacturer has not yet formally announced, promises LED headlights and air conditioning, with a price around 2.15 million rubles.

For Solaris HS buyers seeking a higher level of equipment, the Elegance package is offered at 2.23 million rubles. An additional price increase of 20,000 rubles is noted for the Black Pearl black metallic color. Standard inclusions in this package include alloy wheels, a rearview camera, and static cornering lights, among other niceties.

There are indications that versions with a 100-horsepower naturally aspirated engine and a manual transmission will appear soon, expanding the lineup beyond the turbocharged 123-hp variant. At this stage, the cost of the Solaris HS in the Sportline configuration, and how it compares to the other trims, remains undisclosed.

Earlier reports suggested that Russian dealerships are increasingly utilizing parallel imports to bring in Chinese-made vehicles that resemble Japanese models, signaling a shift in the domestic market to broaden the range of available cars. This trend is part of a broader pattern where parallel import channels influence pricing, availability, and the speed at which new models reach Russian showrooms. As the market evolves, observers are watching how such imports impact local pricing psychology, consumer choice, and brand perception across the country.

In related context, previous coverage noted that Rostov region traffic incidents and public reception have influenced consumer sentiment around new model introductions, including comparisons to familiar targets of media narratives. The ongoing availability and official import status of Solaris HS variants in Russia will likely continue to shape buyer interest and dealer strategies in the near term.
