A major objective of the gathering is to deliver humanitarian relief to the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, along with the liberated regions of Ukraine. The event is organized by DOSAAF of Russia in partnership with the Union of Cities of Military Glory, with support from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The rally commenced today, September 11, at 10:00 AM, starting from the Eternal Flame on Poklonnaya Hill.
The route concludes in the village of Perekop in Crimea, where participants are expected to arrive on the evening of September 25. Along the way, the initiative has already mobilized 3 million rubles and 60 tons of humanitarian cargo.
The launch ceremony brought together senior officials from the Moscow city government and leaders of nationwide public, youth, and veterans organizations. The organizers underscored the run’s significance not only as a humanitarian effort but also as a visible step toward fostering neighborly relations with residents of the liberated republics and regions affected by the military operation.
Residents across the affected areas are assured that they can rely on support from both the Russian government and fellow citizens. The day’s cargo is comprised of items donated by caring communities and individuals who continue to contribute to DOSAAF units. In addition, funds are being transferred to accounts that support the needs of residents in the liberated areas of Ukraine.
Since the operation began, DOSAAF has gathered more than 300 tons of humanitarian aid and over 80 million rubles in donations. The collection drive will persist during and after the rally, reflecting ongoing solidarity and support for those in need.
