He emphasized that the majority of Russia’s automotive industry today operates through joint ventures, reflecting a broad strategy to combine local capacities with foreign expertise.
Current plans involve a shared model of production with car manufacturers on most projects. An exception exists for Haval, where manufacturing is carried out directly under the Chinese brand. Manturov noted that there is room for a venture that would include foreign partners, potentially inviting colleagues from China to participate.
