A deadly highway crash in the Krasnodar region involved a Hyundai Accent and two heavy trucks

A serious traffic crash occurred in the Krasnodar Territory on a highway that connects Krasnodar with Slavyansk-on-Kuban and Temryuk. The incident was first reported by the regional office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs through its Telegram channel. Witnesses at the scene described a violent sequence that left a Hyundai Accent at the center of the collision and two large trucks involved in the aftermath. The public safety agency confirmed that emergency crews arrived promptly to manage the scene and secure the area for investigation. Local authorities urged motorists to exercise caution while the road was assessed and cleared for traffic. The incident site showed significant vehicle damage and debris scattered along the roadway.

Initial findings from the police indicate that a 63-year-old Krymsk resident driving the Hyundai Accent entered the oncoming traffic lane. In that moment the vehicle struck a heavy-duty MAN semi-trailer head-on. The impact caused the truck to collide with a Volvo truck and trailer that had been stationary near the roadside. Both the car and the MAN truck veered off the roadway and slipped into a ditch. Among those affected were occupants of the Hyundai who unfortunately lost their lives in the collision. First responders reported severe damage to the Hyundai as images from the scene captured the scale of the wreckage. The crash prompted a large emergency response and temporary road closures as investigators worked to determine the exact sequence of events.

In a separate development, authorities reported another traffic incident linked to an earlier event in Dagestan. A 17-year-old girl was driving a Lada Vesta and was involved in a separate collision which resulted in injuries to two women. Investigators are examining the circumstances to understand any possible connections between the two incidents and to determine if road conditions or driver factors contributed to the accidents. Reports from the scene emphasize that impaired driving and excessive speed are typical contributing factors in severe highway crashes, and officials reminded drivers to stay within posted speed limits and follow traffic laws to reduce the risk of such tragedies.
