Reports from the AvtoVAZ circle suggest that an updated Lada Vesta could arrive in a sedan form, with a SW Cross variant in the lineup. Insiders affiliated with the Avtograd information community on VKontakte are circulating these claims.

Per these sources, a limited number of units reportedly began assembling at the plant in April, and the new variant is said to be rolling off the line in sufficient quantities to meet early demand. This hints at a broader rollout rather than a handful of pilot builds.

The factory readiness appears to align with a May sales window for the restyled Vesta. The updated lineup is expected to include not only sedans but also SW station wagons and a higher-riding SW Cross version with increased ground clearance. Production of the redesigned Vesta commenced on March 3 at the Tolyatti facility, following the transfer of production responsibilities from Izhevsk.

As for equipment, the refreshed Vesta comes standard with two front airbags and an anti-lock braking system. The model features modern LED lighting, a heated windshield, heated mirrors and front seats, air conditioning, parking sensors, and an infotainment system paired with steering wheel controls and a 7-inch touchscreen. Alloy wheels measuring 17 inches round out the look and feel of the updated package.

Previously, sources from socialbites.ca noted that AvtoVAZ did not comment on a proposed “people’s car” priced at 500,000 rubles, a figure that had been talked about in various circles. The absence of official confirmation from the automaker keeps some of these timing and configuration details in a gray area, but industry chatter continues to point toward a broader, more accessible Vesta family in the near term.
