The capital announced the end of partial mobilization. Pick-up points for mobilized people closed on October 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Summons sent in the process of mobilization to the place of residence and enterprises are no longer valid.
The partial mobilization tasks established on the basis of the Presidential Decree and the tasks of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have been completed.
The turnout for mobilization subpoenas sent to residence and businesses is no longer required, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his blog.
“Mobilization has become a huge test for thousands of families in Moscow, whose fathers, husbands and sons are now enlisting in the military. Nevertheless, the fulfillment of the task of partial mobilization became possible mainly thanks to the responsibility, devotion to duty and patriotism of the Muscovites,” wrote the mayor of Moscow.
The mayor expressed his gratitude to the Muscovites.
“We are all concerned and concerned about your fate, about the difficulties and dangers that lie ahead and which you already face. We hope and pray that you come back safe and sound. They returned with a win. Defended the security and independence of our country.”
