Experts from Otkritie Avto and ad aggregator Haraba analyzed which used cars were most often sold in September in Moscow and the Moscow region, ranging from one to three million rubles. Most often, sales of the eighth generation Toyota Camry (XV70) were registered – 320 sales. On average, the car was sold in 28 days at a price of 2.47 million rubles.
Kia Optima (IV) with a restyled body took second place in the general classification – 304 transactions. The average price of a Korean sedan was 1.57 million rubles, and the car also sold on average in 28 days.
Also in the top five:
- BMW 5 Series (F10) — 1.45 million rubles (252 transactions), 30 days
- Hyundai Creta — 1.4 million rubles (234 transactions), 21 days
- BMW 3VI (F3x) — 1.5 million rubles (226 transactions), 26 days.
The top ten popular models in the secondary market also included Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Solaris and Volkswagen Tiguan.
It seems that in September, more than six months after the cessation of supply of many new cars to the dealer network, those who work in taxis in the Moscow region were mainly active in updating their cars.
Cars wear out and their first change of ownership occurs especially quickly in a taxi, and Camry and Optima are most often used for “transportation” in the capital at popular “comfort” and higher rates, experts noted.
