The stock of spare parts for foreign cars, the supply of which has stopped in Russia, has reached 50-80% of the market needs, writes Izvestia, citing representatives of three major car dealers.
According to them, it was possible to increase the supply thanks to parallel imports. However, the situation cannot be called ideal – there are problems with the speed of deliveries and the stability of channels. Certain positions are periodically missing, but in general the situation is stabilizing.
Stocks are already being formed in warehouses – some auto components will last 4-6 months, listed in the Avtomir Group of Companies.
Parallel import opportunities have not yet been fully exploited, said Vera Pavlova, spokesperson for the Russian Association of Car Dealers.
Spare parts are received today for cars of all brands that have suspended work in Russia: Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Toyota, Ford, Honda, Volvo, Nissan, Skoda, Renault, Volkswagen, etc. Enough.
Sometimes body parts, fasteners, electronic components and parts for aggregate repair are in short supply – an internal combustion engine block, pistons, connecting rods, liners, sensors, and so on.
Spare parts imported under the parallel import procedure are 10-15% more expensive than in February. At first there was a really strong price increase, but gradually the market stabilized.
