The manufacturer has released car production figures for September and for the nine months of 2022. It turned out that the company assembled 3,645 trucks in the first fall and 32,255 since the beginning of the year, while last year only 30,979 trucks were produced during the same period. For example, despite the crisis, the company finds reserves to increase production.

In a separate line, the manufacturer states that the most important change in truck production in the second half of 2022 was the reorientation towards the production of four-wheel drive vehicles, “also for the state customer”.
The production of four-wheel drive vehicles is characterized by increased labor intensity due to the large volume of domestic production involved in their manufacture. In order to fulfill the contracts entered into, the company has used all available means, including the introduction of a 12-hour shift with double overtime pay at certain production facilities,” the KAMAZ press service reported.
It is also reported that another major change was a significant increase in spare parts production. As for all-wheel drive, one of the recently presented novelties is a prototype off-road vehicle for the company Gazprom.
