In the top 5 regions by number of car owners living there, the average premium for OSAGO increased by 9-15%:

- in the Republic of Bashkortostan – also by 10% (from 6194 to 6843 rubles).
At the same time, prices in the directories currently used by insurers when calculating OSAGO payments have increased by 30%, said Yevgeny Ufimtsev, executive director of the RAMI. This led to a tangible increase in the average payment for the mandatory “autocitizenship”: already in July it amounted to more than 80 thousand rubles. According to the Bank of Russia, in general: inflation in the country is now 14-15%, and it is no secret that auto parts inflation is much higher.
Relatively modest growth in the average price of OSAGO policies – only 10% under these conditions, insurers explain the strong competition between insurance companies for break-even customers.
