The height of the backrest will a priori be greater than the distance between the rows of seats, and the shape of the backrest and cushion is far from flat.
But if we are talking in principle about the possibility of staying overnight in a car, then this is quite possible. The best candidates here are minibuses, large crossovers and station wagons.
It is most convenient to spend the night in Focus. There is slightly more space than in Side and the low threshold makes it easier to get into a sleeping bag.
If folding the rear seats ensures a flat floor and the distance from the tailgate to the backrests of the front seats is sufficient, then staying overnight is quite convenient. I personally tested it on my estate cars – before they were BMW tricycles, and now they are Ford Focus III.
