A complete overview of used cars from Japan (what, how much, how and where to buy, what risks) – on this link.

Analysis of the register of issued CBKTS for several days (end of August) allows us to evaluate the assortment imported into Russia. On peak days they issue less than 3000 certificates, on quiet days – less than one and a half thousand. And for the whole of August, about 65 thousand cars entered the country. And by the way, this is more than official dealers who sold new (about 40 thousand cars).

Mostly new and mostly “premium” are brought from Europe. From Japan – second hand, and numerically there are more of them. Sometimes almost all day consists only of “Japanese” – apparently the roro ship “Yenisei” has arrived under the flag of Sierra Leone.

The volume of deliveries from the East by the end of summer increased significantly compared to the end of spring – Vladivostok customs pass through about 600-800 pieces per day.

Somehow, the registry contains models from almost all major world companies (except Chinese).

  • Japanese and German brands dominate, the clear leader is Toyota.
  • Many cars are imported BMW (mainly crosses), Honda, Mazda, Nissan and Volkswagen (but not Polo).
  • In tangible amounts mercedes benz, range rover, Porsche, Ford, Mitsubishi, Hyundai and kia.
  • Single copies of Skoda, Opel and French brands.
  • There are also rare Alfa Romeo or Dodge models.

The shortage of Peugeot and Citroën cars doesn’t really put us off, but the loss of cheap Renault models is sad. They mainly bring Arkana and Megane – cheap ones are unprofitable to take.

  • A car from the States – is it profitable or not? The answer will surprise you.
  • “Behind the wheel” can also be read in Telegram.
