In September, sales of the Lada dealer network totaled 20,641 vehicles, the company’s press service reported. That is 20% more than was achieved in the first autumn of last year. On the scale of the current difficult year, progress is also visible: up 14% compared to August. The undisputed leader within the brand is, of course, the Lada Granta family.
In September, 13,421 people wanted to own a new Grant. According to AvtoVAZ, this is the highest figure in 2022, while it is 245.4% higher than in September 2021 and 15.9% higher than in August this year.
“The growth in sales over the past two months is a testament to the high efficiency of state preferential auto loan programs: Today, more than 60% of retail sales are conducted using these tools. AVTOVAZ is doing its best to provide our customers with the most demanded LADA models in a continuous mode and closely following the trends in market development,” said AVTOVAZ President Maxim Sokolov.
SUVs of the Niva family also sell very well.
Notably, Niva Legend is also showing record momentum, with sales of 2,133 cars in September 2022 and an improvement in results of 315.8% by September 2021 and 19.7% by August 2022. According to Niva Travel, there is also of steady growth: 1306 cars, which is +28.4% in September 2021 and +139.6% in August 2022. AVTOVAZ does not publish statistics on the temporarily unreleased Largus and Vesta.
