A car from Europe is good for two things: “without a run in Russia” and the opportunity to opt for an economical turbo diesel version. In addition, there is hope of saving money, which is considered by the expert of Za Rulem, the oldest and most authoritative automobile publication in Russia, Alexander Vinogradov.
Alexander considered the idea of buying a used car in Germany using a specific example – station wagon Peugeot 308 SW with a 1.5 liter turbo diesel with an output of 131 hp. and 300 Nm, with a range of 100 thousand kilometers.
“Along with the customs clearance and all the associated surcharges, it cost 1,350,000 rubles. Very good for a four-year-old station wagon with a lot of equipment,” writes Alexander Vinogradov.
This price is quite comparable to the cost of a similar car, which is already in Russia (both with 120 hp and 131 hp turbo diesels). The price range is from 1.15 million to 1.39 million rubles, and the mileage is from 92 thousand to 194 thousand kilometers.

— The Peugeot 308 station wagon is far from the only golf class car from Europe for 1.3-1.4 million rubles. With this budget you can look for another “French” – Renault Megane fourth generation 2017-2018 release.
Opel Astra K will also be 2017-2018. Sometimes you come across cars with a 1.4 petrol engine (150 hp), but more often Opel station wagons are diesel.
The seventh generation Volkswagen Golf was sold only with a hatchback body. But many station wagons have already been imported. And not only regular, but also cross versions. True, such machines are already more expensive than one and a half million. A traditional four- to five-year-old station wagon also costs between 1.3 and 1.4 million rubles.
