During a plenary session of the chamber, Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the State Duma, on Wednesday proposed to discuss the transfer of cars left at the border by citizens who have left the country for mobilization to the families of participants in a special operation in Ukraine, reports TASS.

Lists of those leaving the country have been compiled since September 21.

“Now the cars are being abandoned. Besides, you also have to think about who you give these cars to. Maybe the families of those guys who went to fight? It will be good,” Volodin noted.

He also warned that those who left could face criminal charges if they actually signed a document recognizing the Russian Federation as an aggressor, which they allegedly handed over to them when crossing the border into Georgia.

“If this is the case and our citizens are signing this document, then it’s pretty clear: this is a crime, we have to deal with it,” the speaker said.

Earlier we wrote that a spontaneous car market has formed on the border in Georgia. The Russians, who are stuck in traffic for many miles, try to sell their cars to get to the checkpoint faster. You can buy from Kia to BMW here.
