This small SUV was designed by Baojun, a subsidiary of the SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) joint venture.
The car has an angular design and traditional SUV proportions. It is very compact and maybe even smaller than the Suzuki Jimny.
At the front, a Honda-style grille and four headlights on either side are visible. There is no decal on the grille. Not to mention short overhangs, unpainted off-road bumpers, a short hood, square wheel arches and a roof rack.
Engine
As for the engine, Chinese media speculate that the SUV will be electric. That is, it gets two electric motors with a total power of 109 hp. Battery capacity will be 31.9 kW·h, which will provide a decent power reserve for a city car – more than 300 km.
Start sales
The electric vehicle is expected to be shown at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November this year, with sales in China in the first quarter of 2023, according to Car News China.
In terms of size, it is close to the Suzuki Jimny and is fine for the city.
