The car dealers of the Renault dealer network in Russia will have the opportunity to switch to the Lada dealer network. This was stated by Aleksey Tikhomirov, general manager of Lada Image JSC, an AVTOVAZ structure engaged in the sale of spare parts. Tikhomirov noted that to run a full-fledged dealership, it is necessary not only to maintain the fleet of already sold cars, but also to sell new ones.
In fact, Renault dealers were offered to sell Lada cars along with cars of the French brand. In Russia, there were 155 car dealerships of French brands, and 90 of them still operate as before, 42 companies are simultaneously engaged in the sale of used cars, and another 16 – new cars of other brands. And only 7 companies went bankrupt. “AUTOSTAT” reports that Renault currently has about 7,000 unsold cars in the Russian Federation.
As for the warranty and post-warranty maintenance of Renault cars, as mentioned earlier, it has become the sole responsibility of AVTOVAZ. In particular, the Russian warehouse of Renault components and spare parts is now owned by Lada Image. Almost all Renault dealers are currently receiving the necessary spare parts.
