At the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, the Obukhov plant, which is part of the Almaz-Antey concern, presented the future line of E-Neva brand models. It was previously known that it was possible to build many models on the modular platform developed by the holding company, but only one prototype was presented – an electric crossover. Now the body type of the following models is known, and details about the “filling” have also appeared.
True, the range of models was presented not by full-scale concepts, but by large-scale layouts: in addition to the already known crossover, another one, more compact and painted for car sharing, was presented, as well as a van .
It is intended that all cars will be built on the E-Neva platform, equipped with two electric motors with a total output of up to 435 hp. But in addition to the electric car itself, two hybrids with gas engines are being designed, with a power reserve of 810 and 1000 kilometers, according to the Youtube channel Auto Mir News.
And lithium-ion batteries for the assembly of these machines at the Obukhov plant will be supplied by the St. Petersburg company Rigel, Kommersant writes.
The exact timing of the launch of models in production has not yet been announced. But by 2024, Russia must produce at least 25,000 electric vehicles and open more than 9,000 charging stations for them.
Recall that the base version of the model on the E-Neva platform is all-electric. 435 HP two electric motors should provide an acceleration to 60 km/h at the level of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 197 km/h. The mileage on one charge will be 463 km according to the project.
- This all-electric version was tested last July by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
- “Behind the Wheel” can be seen on RuTube.
And the batteries for electric vehicles and hybrids will be Russian, produced in St. Petersburg.
