It is not the first incident involving Lada commercial vehicles in recent weeks. In the Zubovo-Polyansky district (Republic of Mordovia) near the village of Zarubkino, there has been an accident involving a car transporter loaded with new cars. According to the public VKontakte “Zubova Polyana Life”, the accident happened at night at the place where the bridge over the Chiush River is being repaired.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the heavy truck lost control and ended up in a ditch. For example, the collision as such did not take place, but the driver himself was injured, the source writes. No other casualties have been reported yet.
But the equipment was damaged. Judging by the published photos, the truck was carrying eight cars of the Lada Granta model. As a result of the accident, the tractor and trailer were on the starboard side.
A passenger car fell from the car transporter and landed on its roof. At least two other cars sustained mechanical damage. The tractor itself was also heavily damaged, but luckily the most damage was on the right side of the cab.
