Somehow, both engines need proven fuel and clean oil – it is better to shorten the replacement interval to 7000 km, especially if the car constantly lives in the city. Low-quality fuel quickly destroys the converter, which in itself is not particularly durable. And clogged oil passages accelerate the wear of the connecting rod and piston group and the timing chain drive.
There are no hydraulic lifters. With good care, both engines live more than 300 thousand km. When choosing a car with a 2-liter engine on the secondary, it does not hurt to check with an endoscope. Cylinder liner is possible, but most likely will not give a long-lasting effect.
Transfer
M6CF3 mechanics and A6MF1 hydraulic automatic work on many models, including crossovers. Both with six steps. Considered good.
However, with the machine, on early machines, with 100 thousand km, the valve body often fell into disrepair, after which the resource was significantly increased. Questions remained about the selector switch position sensor, and the oil temperature sensor was replaced in 2015 under a recall. With a careful attitude, the machine will live more than 250,000 km before being overhauled.
The mechanics are extremely rare and all you need to know about them is that the plastic blocking ring of the third gear synchro is worn and collapsed. During the restyling, it was replaced by a metal one.

- The suspension is designed for ideal roads and alone does not cause problems for a long time. If the roads are normal, prepare to replace the front wheel bearings and bearings in the front strut bearings often.
- Knocking on the steering wheel is often caused by worn power steering clutch or bushing. The rail itself lasts a long time.
- The knock on the handlebars is almost certainly caused by warped brake discs – it is better to replace them with branded discs, the groove will help for a while.
- Electricians and electronics take care of a lot of worries: the seat heating and the heater motor, the rear view camera, the blind spot monitoring system fails, the contacts of the rear lights are oxidized.
- The frame of the front seats is quickly detached, a full-fledged repair is complicated and expensive.
- Optima in lower trim levels actively worked in a taxi. The mileage of such cars, as a rule, is significantly twisted.
