The glove box lid on the Chevrolet Niva SUV is deformed over time – the top corners are bent outwards. I fixed the defect by tightening the corners with an M3 threaded bolt bought at a hardware store. The stud shortened to a length of 460mm, then drilled four holes in the lid and mounted the stud along the top edge.
I screwed nuts with washers onto the ends of the studs. Tightening these nuts will align the top edges of the cover. For beauty, you can put a black heat shrink on the hairpin.
