An advertisement appeared on Avito Auto for the sale of an old-timer of the highest class ZIL-117, produced in 1973. This is a five-seat limousine with a partition, Leonid Brezhnev had a similar one. The model was designed as a more agile and faster version of the government’s famous ZIL-114 escort limousine.
The car was put up for sale in Simferopol, according to the documents, it had only one owner, and the original registration card was kept. The limousine was released in 1973, according to the announcement this one is a factory original – the part numbers correspond to the body number.
The limousine is equipped with a 7-litre engine with 300 hp, capable of reaching speeds of up to 200 km/h, and an automatic transmission.
The interior is all leather (both front and rear seats), each row has independent heating and ventilation units.
The car comes with historical attributes: a siren, flashing lights and a special communication device.
The mileage of the limousine is quite modest – only 69,000 km.
ZIL-117 became the first first-class sedan in the Soviet automobile industry. In 1971, the model was registered in the Special Purpose Garage and became Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev’s personal car from 1972 to 1982. In total, excluding the three pre-production samples, 66 units were produced.

The high price is explained by the fact that this is a rare premium car – only 66 were produced.
They sell ZIL-117 like Brezhnev – very expensive?
