Now, users can not only extend the expired parking lot or correct the number of the car and the parking zone, but also change the start time of the session to an earlier one, the press service of the Moscow Ministry of Transport reported.
This is useful for motorists who for some reason did not pay for parking on time. You can solve the error in the following way: start the parking session, wait for it to expire and set a new start time within the current day. This must be done in the “Edit completed parking” section.
You can change the parking session if the following conditions are met:
- use the functionality until 23:59 of the day the car park is launched;
- each parking session can only be corrected once: either the beginning or the end, or the number of the car and/or the parking zone;
- no more than 3 parking sessions per month can be established;
- the start or end time of the parking lot can only be changed if it has expired by itself and has not been forced by the user.
So far, the new service is only available in Moscow, but it will soon be launched for parking spaces in St. Petersburg. In addition, next year it will be possible to repair parking not only in the application Parking of Russia, but also on the Moscow Parking website, including in the personal account of a legal person.
According to Maxim Liksutov, deputy mayor of Moscow in the Moscow government for transport, an average of 1.1 million active users pay monthly for parking in the app.
