One of the goals of the meeting is to deliver humanitarian aid to the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as the liberated areas of Ukraine.
Organized by DOSAAF of Russia and the Union of Cities of Military Glory, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the rally started today, September 11 at 10:00 AM from the Eternal Flame (stele) on Poklonnaya Hill.
The end point of the route, the village of Perekop in Crimea, the participants of the course will reach the evening of September 25.
3 million rubles and 60 tons of humanitarian cargo joined the rally
The launch ceremony was attended by heads of departments of the Moscow government and heads of all-Russian public, youth and veterans organizations. The importance of the run was particularly noted, not only in terms of humanitarian aid to people, but also as one of the steps in establishing good neighborly relations with residents of the republics and regions released during the military special operation.
The people who live there know that they can always count on the help and support of not only the Russian government, but also the citizens of our country: the cargo shipped today consists of things that caring people have brought and continue to bring to DOSAAF units. Also, people transfer money to accounts from which they are sent to the needs of residents of the liberated areas of Ukraine.
Since the start of the special operation, Russia’s DOSAAF has collected more than 300 tons of humanitarian aid and more than 80 million rubles. The collection will continue during and after the run.
Route “Foreline”
The Front Line rally passes through three hero cities and nine cities of military glory: Moscow – Tula – Orel – Kursk – Belgorod – Stary Oskol – Voronezh – Rostov-on-Don – Anapa – Kerch – Simferopol – the village of Perekop. In total, the participants will cover 3,670 kilometers. A special point on the route is in the Rostov region, where an important meeting is planned – a roundtable with representatives of the defense organizations of the LDNR.
