When you need to jack up a car, it’s not always easy to find a designated place on the bodywork. Even if there are stamped arrows on the edge of the threshold, they are sometimes hard to see.
For orientation, I applied black paint (light car) marks to the edges of the thresholds.
If the threshold is dirty, you can wipe the rib and, even in low light, find the jacking point. The appearance of the car does not suffer.
