Russian President Vladimir Putin and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin opened a section of the Moscow High Speed Diameter (MSD) from Dmitrovskoye to Yaroslavskoye Highway via video link. About informs TASS.
It was noted that the head of state and the mayor of Moscow contacted the builders to open the site while they were at the Zaryadye concert hall. Thanks to the opening of the new highway, traffic will be carried out from the M-11 federal road in the north to the Kosinskaya junction in the east of the capital.
Upon completion of construction, MSD will merge the North-East and South-East chords. Also, the diameter will connect 10 outbound highways in the city. New transport junctions will appear in the 48 districts of Moscow.
