In the second-generation Volvo XC70, the battery is contained in a closed box and the gases are expelled through a rubber tube and an L-shaped adapter.

The adapter is often lost, causing corrosion in the box.

Buying an adapter is problematic and expensive.

For replacement, I used a fitting from a plumbing store – it is no more than 50 rubles.
