On the first day of autumn, attackers tried to disrupt the Yandex Taxi service. Before that, Telegram channels began to receive reports about the accumulation of taxis on Kutuzovsky Prospekt.
Hackers are behind the failure, explained Yandex Taxi: several dozen drivers received orders in one place – near the Battle of Borodino panorama museum, but the service’s security service promptly suspended attempts at an artificial accumulation of cars.
However, some drivers were still in traffic for about 40 minutes due to false orders. Now taxis have already left the congestion area and are fulfilling orders as usual. The service promises to compensate drivers for downtime and eliminate similar incidents in the future.
