One in three Russians perceives a car up to 60 thousand km as new, the same number of respondents refers to new cars under five years old. This is indicated in the work of the online car control service Avtoteka, which conducted a survey with 6 thousand drivers (on socialbites.ca).
According to the results of the survey, 36% of respondents consider new cars up to 60 thousand km, and 64% – new cars up to 40 thousand km. Only 6% of Russians are ready to name new cars from car dealerships with no mileage. Regarding service life, 77% of respondents categorize three-year-old cars as new, and 35% class cars up to 5 years as such.
The majority of Russians surveyed (63%) stated that they think mileage is a key parameter of automobile innovation. The second most important criterion for every second was the absence of an accident and major repairs, 31% of the important parameters were called the initial condition of the body and interior.
“For 84% of Russians, when buying a used car, it is important to preserve the original appearance of the body. 47% of the participants attach great importance to the perfect cleaning of the hall. The third place in importance is shared by features such as the lack of adjustment and the presence of original tires and wheels, they were chosen by 24% of respondents, ”said the author.
Among cars with a mileage of up to 80 thousand km, one in three Russians is ready to consider buying a car with an indicator of 40-60 thousand km on the odometer. Experts add that in the second place in popularity are cars with a distance of up to 40 thousand km (31%), and in the third – up to 60-80 thousand km (23%).
