It was provisionally determined that the driver, born in 2003, who was driving a VAZ 2115 car in Uyar (Krasnoyarsk area), lost control of the wheel and flew into the concrete support of a power line. The car overturned, the pole fell, and the VAZ-2115 was torn in half.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate found that the driver was in a state of intoxication: the device indicated 0.58 mg/l.
Police also found out that the man had stolen someone else’s car to drive, the keys to it were inside. In addition, the young man does not have a driver’s license at all.
However, as a result of the accident, the driver was not injured, there were no passengers in the cabin. The driver is currently in custody. A criminal case was opened against him for unlawfully carrying transportation without the purpose of theft (Part 1 of Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to this article, he faces up to five years in prison.
