Experts from the consumer rights protection department of Roskachestvo told about the method of fraud at gas stations.
If you ask a gas station employee to fill the tank “completely”, he may squeeze the last drops for a long time, trying to squeeze the fuel under the cut on the neck.
The numbers on the column change quickly, almost no fuel flows into the tank, but the meter diligently winds up liters and rubles.
That is why experienced motorists advise don’t tell the gas station employee “full tank”, but “full, until the first cut-off”. This is when the smart nozzle system itself automatically shuts off the fuel supply and senses that splashes and foam are nearby.
