Employees of the Russian State Traffic Inspectorate have begun to accept residents of the Kharkiv region who want to replace car registration documents and driver’s licenses in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation. Numbers are issued with the digital code “188”.
The registration and investigation department of the traffic police is located in the city of Kupyansk, on 1 May Street, house number 6. But this is a temporary address – a more convenient building of the former MREO is being prepared on 1st Sakharozavodskaya Street, 1b in the same city of Kuyansk.
Reception of citizens takes place 6 days a week (from Monday to Saturday) from 9 am to 6 pm. This is the fifth REA to open in the liberated areas since the beginning of August. Before that, two divisions were opened in the Kherson region (in Kherson and the city of Holaya Pristan) and in the Zaporozhye region (in Melitopol and Berdyansk).
“The expansion of the geography of the provision of public services through the State Traffic Inspectorate in the liberated areas will continue. This work is being done to ensure that residents of these areas can receive public services for exchanging car registration documents and driver’s licenses as quickly and comfortably as possible,” the Russian Federation Traffic Police said in a statement.
